I had the opportunity to review a book entitled, The Race: From Pit Row to Victory Lane. The author of the book is Rick Lemons, Pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Forney, Texas. Since 1977, the church has been blessed of the Lord to have a humbling increase from seven active members at it's start, to well over 1,400. I recommend this book because it appears to be an excellent discipleship tool with racing interests. Several years ago, Elena and I met Scott and Melissa Wimberly while attending the same church in Clyde, NC. The Lord was working in all of our lives at that specific time. Through this time, God anchored us into His Divine destiny! The Lord has used Scott in a very powerful way. I feel that his website is loaded with positive and encouraging information to strengthen our Spiritual walk. Part of my morning devotion is his daily blog! Four steps to achievement:
Plan purposefully.
Prepare prayerfully.
Proceed positively.
Pursue persistently.
~ William A. Ward
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
John 3:17-18 (Amplified Bible)

We had PET Scan on January 24 and got the results Jan 31. Findings consistent
with complete response to therapy. There are now no abnormal areas of activity identified and the previously identified adenopathy appears resolved. This is the official statement. Thank you Jesus! We give Him all the Praise and thanks for what He is doing in our lives as we can do nothing, He does it, all we do is walk in his plan. We are making plans for this year of serving Him. The first series of races is now behind us and the next are on our calendar. I am even
considering going to a National race that Kevin can not make because they are
having another the same time. God is truly using us to carry his word and love
to MX riders and their families. We continue to stand on Isaiah 41: 9 & 10 “You are my servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. ‘Do not fear, for I am with you: Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, surely I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. "
Please share this news with all those you have shared with about my illness.
Give God all the praise for truly he is the answer. May the Lord bless and keep
you always in His care. Bob and Linda

National Fellowship of Raceway Ministries' Prayer Requests
Here is a prayer request that came in this evening (Jan. 6, 12) from our fellow-servant Todd Christopherson in Wisconsin:
"Hello Roger, Can you pray and have others pray. Lonyea was in the hospital 6 day prior to Christmas. She is back in today. Our pray would be 1) for healing, 2) that there would be a doctor that could have insight and find out what is wrong, 3) that the enemy would be pushed back as we are all pretty tired and discouraged.
Thank you for praying,
Todd"
Please take the time to lift up this request
